This site is built with Eleventy (v3) and Nunjucks templates. Post bodies are rendered with markdown-it, with custom rules: heading levels have # markers, images are turned into [image: alt text] links, and typographic punctuation marks (curly quotes, em dashes, ellipses, etc.) are normalised to ASCII.

The site is ASCII. That said, the content of posts keep non-ASCII letters (accents, other scripts, emoji) intact.

There is no JavaScript or images anywhere on this site. There are no external requests. No fonts, no analytics, no third-party anything.

The typeface is monospace. It is the fixed-width font your browser, terminal, or screen reader provides.

There is one stylesheet, inlined in the <head> of every page, located in src/_includes/base.njk if you want to customize it. It under 1.5 KB. Here it is:

This theme was inspired by Starbreaker, who publishes literal .txt mirrors of his webpages.
